INTRODUCTION
This issue is mainly about architectural territory and about the ways we perceive it. The best way to introduce the idea of the complex set of phenomena which we wish to present is to quote Bogdan Bogdanović and his work “Urbanističke mitologeme (Urban quandaries)”: “It seems unusual, but water and city are correlative notions, in the same way furrow and initial settlement are. The drama of the birth of cities or the play of suffering and passion, which could be called The Birth of the World, is played, by the rules, in the best case, up to waist in water. The great and fearful waters could and had flowed abundantly over the heads of our forefathers, creators of civilization.”
