CLUB EUROPEAN ARCHITECT
organization for cooperation between architects and manufacturers and contractors
Club European Architect is engaged in mediation, promotion and stimulation of the cooperation between architects and manufacturers of building products and contractors. Club members and their businesses will be included in the organization’s database and they will become a part of the network of the related businesses in the region.
Besides the main activity of connecting with the goal of achieving business, the CLUB EA has an obligation to provide the space for the initiation and development of the cooperation between compatible businesses. Organizing events for information exchange, education and promotion are some of the means by which the organization will ensure the welfare of its members.
The Club tries to motivate its members to provide special, favorable business conditions to other members in order to achieve efficiency and stimulate the development of the organization, but also to assure material gain of the club members. The basic idea of the organization is the formation of an active body that consists of club members who will assure the progress of the architectural and building scene in the country by active participation.
EA Club took over the administrative organization of the architectural sector in the country and its representation in the region and Europe. Formation and recording of the entire architectural and building operations, data classification and regular update of the database and accurate monitoring of the market conditions will contribute to a better situation in the profession and facilitate business for individuals and groups.
Club European Architect is conceived at the initiative of Magazine Arhitekton, in cooperation with European organizations (Architects’ Council of Europe ACE and others), institutions from the region that support changes in architectural and building scene in Serbia, and the developing Serbian Chamber of Architect. The establishment of the club is the first step toward the reorganization and regulation of this sector in the country.
Club membership is free of charge, but the club members are expected to actively participate in club activities and contribute with ideas and initiatives, and to cooperate with other members in order to assure a gradual shift in the profession as well as better and more efficient business operations. The club acts as a mediator between members but also activates its members as mediators. Acting under the conditions and regulations of the club members can ensure profits from their activities within the club.
The club is open to all interested parties who are engaged in architectural and building practice. Joining the club is done by sending a simple application with contact information. Further activities and conditions of membership will subsequently be presented to members through information material that will be timely sent to all members.
